We would love it if you would send along a picture of your child doing the activities to post on our website. - Set up your 5 targets.
- Decide where your throwing spot will be.
- Stand on your throwing spot and throw your ball at your targets. See how long it takes you to knock down all the pins. You must retrieve your ball every time you throw and go back to your throwing spot

Today’s game is called Foot Putt by Mr. Dollivar. For this game you need a ball to use as your golf ball and you need various objects to set up a course. Set up a course in your home and use your foot as your putter.

May 22 - Agility Jumping
Today’s game is by Mr. Moore and works on jumping.
Level 1: Use a jumping rope or an imaginary line on the group and jump over it using both feet.
Level 2: Use one foot to jump back and forth over your line.
Level 3: Add an object to jump over. You could use a pillow. Use two feet or one.
Level 4: Add a little more height.
Level 5: Jump with a skipping rope, use two feet or try one!

- A basket
- 3 balls
How to play:
- Place a basket in front of a wall.
- For level 1 stand 5 feet away from the wall. For level 2, stand 10 feet away. For level 3 stand 15 feet away.
- Throw the ball at the wall and try to have the ball land in the basket.
- The ball must hit the wall first, then go it. Everytime you do this, give yourself 1 point.
- Once you throw all 3 balls, quickly get them and try again. See how many points you can get in one minute.

May 20 - Target Toss
Today’s game is called Target Toss by Mr. Sturgeon.

- 4 hula hoops. 2 of one size, 2 of another. If you don’t have hula hoops you could use chalk or skipping ropes.
- Bean bags, if you don’t have bean bags you could use socks.
What to do:
- Spread the two bigger hula hoops out across from each other and place a smaller one inside each to make the targets.
- The inside target will be worth 2 points and outside the target is 1 point.
- Choose the score you are going to play to.
- You can play by yourself or with a partner. Throw two bean bags at a time.
May 19 - Soccer Bowling

- Bowling pins - you can use bottles filled with water.
- Soccer Ball.
- Set up the pins, 1 in the front worth 3 points, 2 in the middle worth 2 points, and 3 in the back worth 1 point.
- Each player will get 10 turns. Each turn you will get 3 kicks.
- If you get all of the pins down after two kicks (spare) you add an extra kick to your next turn.
- If you get all the pins down after one kick (strike) you get two shots added to your next turn.
- If you want challenge, add a barrier to the middle.

Today’s game is called wall tennis and is by Mr. Watters. This game works on throwing, catching and hand hitting.

- A wall
- A court - draw this with chalk, use string, etc.
- Tennis ball, or another type of ball that can bounce.
- Racquets or paddles if you have them.
How to play:
- Draw a court.
- The object of the games is to try and make the ball land on the opponents side of the court.
- First version is toss and catch. The first players tosses the ball to the wall and the opponent catches the ball and throws it back to the wall, back and forth. The ball must land inside the opponents court. If it goes outside of the court, your opponent get a point.
- Second version is open hand. Same as version 1, except use an open hand.
- Third version is with paddles or racquets.

- Tie water bottle onto a hockey net hanging at different lengths and in different locations. If you don’t have bottles, you could use a fence, basketball net, etc.

- A whole bunch of lids - Tupperware lid, margarine lids, any type of lid you can toss.
- A target - this can be a poster, a blanket, etc.
- A throwing line - this can be a piece of tape, a broom, etc.
How to play:
- Set up a throwing line.
- Set up your target.
- Give each player the same amount of lids.
- Take turns or have one player go at a time and try and throw lids only the target. Each lid landing on the target is a point.
- The person with the most points wins. Move back the throwing line for more of a challenge.

May 12 - Jump Rope
Today’s activity is by Ms. Parsons and is some skipping tricks.
Make sure you are in an open area.
1st trick: Put a handle in each hand and practice making an x.
2nd trick: Jumping forwards and back.
3rd trick: Ski jump, jumping side to side.
4th trick: Rockin Horse, jumping forward and back, one foot at a time.

May 11 - Knock Your Socks Off
Today’s game is by Mr. MacKinnon and is called “Knock your Socks Off.” This game works on your overhand throwing.

- 10 pairs of socks rolled into a ball to throw.
- 5 pairs of socks to hang.
- A line to hang socks on.
- Two players.
How to play:
- Hang the line.
- Divide the socks on each side of the line. One sock from each pair on both sides.
- Have two people play and assign one side of socks to each.
- Decide who goes first. The first play will overhand throw their “ball” at their socks trying to knock them down. If they knock the other players socks down, it counts for the other player.
- After the first player goes, second player goes and does the same thing.
- Each player gets 5 turns. See who knocks down the most socks!

May 8 - Flying Paper Ring Challenge
Today’s game is by Mrs. Phillips and is called Flying Paper Ring Challenge.

- A paper ring - you can create this by flying strips of paper together. You could also cut out a paper plate to make a ring.
- 3 cans or another type of item you can stack.
- Throwing line.
- Figure out where you are going to put your throwing line.
- Spread 3 cans out in a line in front of the throwing line.
- Try to throw your ring onto the first can. If you get it on, pick up the first can and stack in on top of the second can. If you miss, go back to the starting line and try again.
- Go back to the throwing line and try to get your ring on two cans. If you get it, stack the two cans into the third can. If you miss, go back and try again.
- Once you get your ring on all three cans, you could play again, but this time move your throwing line back a little bit!

May 7 - Table Ball

May 6 - Batter Up

- Pool noodle cut in half or a broom handle as the bat.
- A bucket for the target
- Pool noodle cut into small pieces or rolled up socks to be the balls.
How to play:
- One player will be the pitcher. This player will pitch the “ball” trying to get the back into the bucket.
- The other player will try and hit the ball with the ball before it lands into the target.
- Once the batter gets 3 hits, switch spots.

May 5 - Tic, Tac, Toe
Game 24 is by Mr. Dollivar and is called Tic, Tac, Toss. This game works on underhand throwing and accuracy.

- Chalk
- A partner
- Socks to toss (two different colours)
What to do:
- Draw a big tic, tac, toe board with chalk. If you don’t have chalk, you could use tape.
- Draw a scoreboard with the names of the players.
- Draw a line to throw from.
- Choose who goes first.
- The first player will stand at the throwing line and underhand toss onto the tic, tac, toe board. Remember point your opposite foot forward and use tick tock motion. If you miss the board, go again.
- Once the first player has their socks in a spot, the second player goes and play continues until someone has tic, tac, toe.
- If you throw your sock into a spot already taken, throw again.
- Play until a player reaches desired score.

April 29 - Racket Sports at Home
Game 21 is by Miss. Fraser and is a Racket Sports at Home game.

- Rackets. You can create rackets by tracing a pot on cardboard to get the same size circles. Cut out the circles and then tape a wooden spoon to the back.
- A net. You can create a net by tying a piece of string to two chairs. Put towels or clothes over the string.
- A shuttle/ball. You can use a ball of socks.
How to play:
- Hit the shuttle/ball back and forth with a partner. Try not to let it hit the ground.

Game 20 is a sensory path by Ms. Tucker. For this activity you can make a path using chalk. On this path you can add various different activities to do. Some examples could be, a bunny hop, jumping jacks, balance beam, spinning, dancing, toe touch, hopscotch, leaping, etc.

April 27 - Modified Lawn Bowling
Game 19 is called “Modified Lawn Bowling” and is by McIssac.

For this game you need:
- Two teams, one player per team or multiple players per team.
- Each person needs a ball of some sort.
- Chose a ball to be the “jack.” This is going to be the target.
- Throw the “jack” first. Wherever it lands, that becomes the target.
- Players take turn bowling trying to get closest to the jack.
- The closest ball, gets a point.
- The closest team will then throw the jack for the next round.
- Whoever gets 21 points first, wins.

April 24 - Obstacle Course
Game 18 is by Mr. Shanks and is an obstacle course. For this activity, you can use anything around your home to make an obstacle course. In this video, she used many different things around her house and in her backyard to make an obstacle course. You can use sticks or rocks to zigzag through, use sticks as a target for throwing, use hula hoops for jumping in and out of, etc.

April 23 - Air Hockey
Game 17 is by Mr. Doucette and is called Air Hockey. This game works on your hand eye coordination.

- Choose an object to be the puck. You could use a container cover, a ball, etc.
- Choose an object to be the handles. You could use plastic cups.
- Use pool noodles or another object on the outside to make the “rink.”
- Two players.
- One player on each side of the “rink.”
- Use the handles to hit the puck back and forth.
- Try to get the puck past the other player to get a point

- Any type of animals you have around your house (stuffed, figurines) that moves in different ways.
- Objects that you cannot see through to cover the animals up. (Yogurt containers, plant pots, boxes, etc). These are the “cages.”
- Spread the animals out in your playing area and cover them up.
- The first player goes and lifts the “cage” off the animal. Whatever animal is under there, place on top of the cage and then all players act like that animal for a given time. For example, if the first player lifts a cage and it is a lion under it, all players act like a lion for the given time.
- The next player goes, picks a cage and again, players act like that animal for the given time.
- Play continues until all animals are out of their cage.

Game 12 is by Mr. MacKinnon and is called “Rock n Roll Woodchuck and works on balancing, throwing, running and rolling.

- Started with balance using pieces of wood.
- Next work on throwing using buckets and 5 throwing objects. Toss each object and get 1 point for each one that goes in.
- Rolling down the hill.
- Next is “woodchuck” which is throwing sticks in a wheelbarrow.
- Last is “fill the sled” which is scooping snow with a shovel until the sled is full.

Game 11 is by Mr. Watters and is called Push Up Hockey and works on strength and eye hand coordination.

- One item to use such as a bean bag, rolled up socks, gloves, stuffed toy, etc
- Version 1: Lay on your stomach and have your arms pushed up in a push up position. Slide the object back and forth trying to score between the other person’s arms. You may move your arms to protect the object from going in.
- Version 2: Get in a full push up position. Slide the object back and forth trying to score between the other person’s arms. You may move your arms to protect the object from going in.

- Find one or more people to play with.
- Choose one person to start. This person will say “I spy with my little eye something that is _______.” They fill in the blank with a color of a mystery item they find. For example I might choose a yellow house as my mystery item so I would say “I spy with my little eye something that is yellow.”
- The other player/players try and guess what the mystery item is. If they get it wrong the person who chose the mystery item gives them something physical to do. It could be running in so many circles, jumping up and down so many times, so many jumping jacks, etc. If the player guesses right, they get to pick the mystery item and play continues.
- You can play inside or outside!

April 13 - Ants in Your Pants
Game 9 is by Ms. Plourde and is a striking game using your hand like a badminton racquet.

- Three pairs of socks (rolled up)
- A line
- Two pairs of pants
- A container
- Spread your pants out with the bottom parts touching to make a diamond in the middle and put a container in the middle.
- Put a line where you are going to serve from.
- Use your dominant hand as your racquet, place your non dominant leg slightly forward and see how many “ants” you can get inside your pants by serving your socks using your hand.
- If you get three in a row, take a giant step backwards.
- You could play for points, inside the pants is 1 point, inside the container is 2 points.

April 10 - Stair Ball Mayhem
Game 8 is by Mr. Thompson and is working on hand-eye coordination and reaction time and is called Stair Ball Mayhem.

- Ball (or socks)
- Hamper
- One player is at the top of the stairs and one at the bottom of the stairs.
- Level 1:
- Start with one ball. The player at the top of the stairs throws the ball down the stairs and the person at the bottom of the stairs tries to catch the ball with the hamper. Each ball caught it worth point.
- Level 2:
- Player at the top of the stairs uses two balls or more.
- For more of a challenge, catch with your hands instead. Also, instead of one point per basket, you could say 5 points per basket to practice skip counting.

April 9 - Footwork Skills

- Warm up: Practice kicking a soccer ball back and forth with a partner. If you have nobody to play with, kick it agaisnt a wall or an object. Practice one touch, two touch, etc.
- Play soccer volleyball by drawing a square divided into four (four square court). The middle line is the net. The idea is similar to volleyball, but you use your feet to control the ball. Kick the ball in the air back and forth. However, the ball must land one time on the other side of the “net” in the court before that player touches the ball. If the player who kicked the ball, kicks the ball outside of the court, the other player gets a point.

April 8 - Scavenger Hunt
Game 6 is by Ms. Parsons and is a scavenger hunt.

- If you are able to get outside today and go for a walk with somebody in your household, see if you can find the following items: a house with a yellow door, a squirrel, a fire hydrant, a hockey net, a red car, a “for sale” sign, a mailbox, a house/building with a flag, a maple tree and a flat rock.
- Once you find all of these items, create a new list of things to find! Please feel free to send me some items to share for others to find!
- Also, if you want to take photos of the things you find, I will post them!
April 7 - Throw and Catch
Game 5 is by Mrs. Bos and is a throwing and catching game.

- Choose an item that you are going to throw and catch. It could be a stuffed animal, a ball, water bottle, a pair of socks, etc.
- Make a list of different things to do before you throw and catch or for a challenge, do the list of things after you throw but before you catch.
- The examples Mrs. Bos had were:
- Thumb (touch thumbs together)
- Shoe (touch your shoe)
- Knee (touch your knee)
- Floor (touch the floor)
- Jive (a little dance)
- Splits (jump your legs open then closed)
- Heaven (toss the ball a little higher)
- Gate (lift a leg and toss the ball under your leg)
- Spine (touch your spine before catching)
- Again (Say “do it all again” while turning)

- Choose various objects (2 each) around your home to be targets. You could use buckets, paper, hampers, hula hoops, etc.
- Spread one set of targets in a line on one side, and spread the same targets out on the other side.
- Have one person stand on one side and the other person on the other side.
- Use a tennis ball or any other object you can toss and try to underhand toss into the target on the other side starting with the first target. Decide on points for each object. Once the first person throws, the second person throws.

Matt and I set up scrap wire, boards from his hockey game, chairs and wood. Our point system was:
Matt won 9-4!
- One point if it landed in the wire.
- One point for hitting the hockey board, two points if it hit the blue part of the board and three points if it hit the red part of the board.
- One point if it landed on the chair and two points if it went in the cup holder.
- One point if it hit the wood.

April 3 - Scrabble Wall
Game 3 is brought to you by Mr. Campbell. This game is called "Wall Scramble.” This is a cross curricular game.
How to play:

- Make various cards/posters with different letters of the alphabet.
- Spread the cards out all over the wall.
- Choose various objects to use to throw, kick, shoot at the wall. Some examples depending where you are playing could be, a soccer ball, tennis ball, rubber ball, hockey puck, football, bouncy ball or socks rolled into a ball.
- Have an adult give the student a letter and the student tries to hit the given letter using one of the objects! You could also give them sounds to hit, get them to spell a word by hitting each letter in the word or you could even write words on the cards instead of letters!
We set up some letters on the wall (capital and lowercase) and threw my niece's stuffy, a plastic easter egg and a stress ball, kicked the soccer ball and shot the hockey puck at the letters.
April 2 - Bad Bugs - PE Students Strike Back
Game 2 is by Mr. Calder. The game is called, “Bad Bugs - PE Students Strike Back.” This is a throwing game/target game.

- Set up various targets. You can use water bottles, boxes, containers, etc.
- Assign each target a point.
- Use socks, or another type of object as your ball.
- Take turns trying to knock down the targets throwing underhand or overhand.
- Play a certain amount of rounds and see who gets the most points!
Matt and I set up Bad Bugs today. We played 5 rounds. The bottles were worth 1 point, the boxes worth 2 and the red cups worth 3. When we knocked a target down, we kept it down until all of the targets were knocked over. Matt won 24 to 23. I was so close!
April 1 - Ramp Ball
Game 1 is brought to you by Mr. Crossland. The game is called, “Ramp Ball.” This is a rolling/throwing/bowling game.
How to play:
How to play:
- Set up a a ramp using items around your house.
- Set up three buckets after the ramp.
- The closest bucket is worth one point, the middle one is worth two and the furthest one is worth three.
- Play for minutes, points, be creative!
Matt (my fiancé) and I set up ramp ball today. We played best to ten! It was harder then we thought! I won 10 - 4! Who did you play with?
