Staying active at home!

Staff:
- Miss. Gallant has been going for walks around her neighbourhood (keeping her distance from others), using her treadmill, and doing different workout apps online!
- Mme. Grandy has been going on 3 twenty minute socially distant walks in the woods and around her neighbourhood with her family and puppy each day.
- Miss. Roberts has been exercising at home on one day and then going for a fast walk on the next day. That makes a pattern.
- Mrs. Armstrong has been walking her dog Teeko and his friend Flint everyday. The 2 dogs like to chase birds, kids on bikes and blowing leaves.
- Ms. Groves - Reynolds has been outside every day - even in the rain! She likes to walk, get fresh air and search for teddy bears in peoples’ windows! If it is too cold for a long walk, she works out to a dvd. Keeping active is so important for our physical and mental health!
- Mrs .Baxter has been walking everyday around her neighbourhood with her family and she does yoga everyday with her daughter.
- Miss. Hamburg has been staying active by taking her puppy for lots of walks in her neighbourhood and doing yoga videos from Youtube.
- Mrs. VanSnick has been walking daily to get the mail (about 3/5 of a km from her home) and she has been using her treadmill.
- Mrs. O’Connor has been doing yoga, going for walks with her family and doing some painting. It is great to stay active!
- Mrs. Ellis takes her dog Charlie for a walk every day. Yard work is getting done, so she is getting lots of fresh air!
- Mrs. MacLeod has been doing workout videos and long outdoor walks with her family.
- Mrs. Tokach has been taking Ferris for long walks every day, and has been doing online workouts posted by her gym to stay active and healthy!
- Mrs. Touchie has been trying to run 5k each day around her neighbourhood, doing her Beachbody workouts when the weather is not nice to get outside, and playing road hockey with the kids.
Students:
- Seamus in grade 5 has been active in shooting his pucks daily. Seamus loves to play hockey and has been spending as much time as he can out in his yard (by himself, keeping his distance) practicing his shots on his net. Seamus also spends some time doing his workouts at home, he has a workout that he follows from Afterburn performance, his workout is to help him with his hockey skills.
- Cohen in grade 5 has been going on bike rides and walks around his neighbourhood for at least an hour each day!
- Alina and Ayrilee have been walking anywhere between 2-4 KM a day.
